PEI Mutual has voluntarily donated over $850,000 to Island Fire Departments under its Donation Policy since 1959. Manager of Claims Services and Fire Department Donations coordinator, Josh Toombs, says that "supporting Island Firefighters helps make our communities safer places to live and work".
On hand for the presentation, PEI Mutual's Josh Toombs (Left), Director Stewart MacRae, Deputy Chief Neil Blackett, Chief Allen Cole, Agent Bruce Simpson and 50th Anniversary Coordinator Peter McCarville.
At the 50th Anniversary Celebration PEI Mutual partnered with P&G Fire Safety for a public fire extinguisher safety demonstration. PEI Mutual Safety Surveyor, Gary Bryson, was on hand to help coordinate activities.
