When choosing to make a policy payment on your policy, you have the option to use online banking or make a secure, one-time credit card payment by phone through our local staff at our head office in Summerside. 

Make a Payment with Online Banking

 

We are set up for online banking for Direct Bill policies with the following financial institutions:

  • Credit Union Central
  • TD Canada Trust
  • Bank of Montreal
  • Royal Bank of Canada
  • CIBC
  • Scotia Bank
  • TelPay
  • Canadian Tire
  • Tangerine

To set up online banking payments, follow these steps:

  1. Login to your online bank account
  2. ‘Add a payee’ under ‘Bill payments’
  3. Select ‘Enter company name’
  4. Enter “PEI Mutual”
  5. Enter your PEI Mutual policy number as your account number
  6. You are now set up to send online payments to PEI Mutual!

Please contact your financial institution directly for any assistance with adding a payee to your online bank account.

Make a Payment with a Credit Card

 

Feel secure making a one-time or monthly credit card payment on your policy by phone through our local staff at our head office in Summerside. We accept payments by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit and MasterCard Debit).

 

To make a credit card payment, have the following ready:

  • Your name, email address, and credit card information.
  • Your PEI Mutual policy number.  You can find your policy number on any correspondence sent from PEI Mutual - or we can verify your policy number over the phone.
